MELPACK is an innovative and patented system for packing melons into crates.
MELPACK can pack up to 840 crates/hour, i.e. 8 to 10 t/h according to grade.
MELPACK provides a complete solution for the packing of melons, allowing it to reduce by two or three the number of work stations on packing lines. It is thus allows meeting production surges, delivery deadlines or personnel shortages.
MELPACK can be added downstream of any type of grader. The full crates are sent directly towards the palletisation area or towards the automatic palletiser. Used after a pre-grading stage, MELPACK can be fed directly by a pallet-box emptyer.
MELPACK can pack 6 different grades of melons: 9, 11, 12Q, 12L, 15Q, 15L. It features an order-preparation function, which programmes pre-counted series of crates. MELPACK is made entirely of stainless steel.
